Within the dApp, users have access to in-dApp custodial wallets that reflect the wallet address, withdraw and deposit functions, how much ETH and ALI is in the wallet, with opportunities to purchase either, and how much ALI is currently claimable, with an opportunity to claim it. Once Rewards are allocated, both creators and Users can claim their Reward tokens, and are able to either use them to create and interact further on the platform, or transfer them to their personal external self-custodial wallets, seamlessly bridging in-dApp activity with broader blockchain interactions.
In order to purchase a Key with ALI Tokens, using the in-dApp Wallet, the Wallet must be funded with Base Ethereum (bETH) on the Base Network to pay for the gas fees associated with the transaction.
Base ETH can be purchased using an external self-custodied wallet, and then transferred to the in-dApp Wallet, or the user can purchase ETH directly using a trusted third party, MoonPay.
Currently, self custodial cryptocurrency wallets are not directly able to connect to ALIagents.ai. However, in order to fund the in-dApp wallet, a self custodial wallet can be used to purchase Base ETH or Base ALI from a Base Network Decentralized Exchange (DEX), on the Layer 2 Base network on top of the Ethereum blockchain and use them to fund their in-dApp wallet by deposit either tokens.
